I was sent a cartridge with faulty sdram which is required to boot roms. they claimed to replace the cartridge while persistently asking me to cancel my dispute as they show me a mere shipping label… this seller cannot be trusted and my satisfaction and respect for aliexpress as a platform is coming to a close. this is the 2nd time a store on aliexpress sells me a faulty cartridge. i was ready to buy 5 more cartridges, unforunately, i find another seller who does not give a firm handshake.

It’s the most basic flashcart you can buy that still has a decent feature set. I was unable to get it to read a 200gb sdxc card, but it may be due to formatting. An 8gb sdhc worked just fine. It’s not perfect, as it causes failures in the ags aging cartridge test and it doesn’t have a rtc or photo sensor, but it is good enough for the vast majority of the gba library. You can’t go wrong at this price .

This is an excellent flash cart for the price.
Running games off sdram works but often yields slowdown, but this cart has an internal nor flash that i can write games too. Games written to this flash should have no slowdown in most cases.
I tested this on my ags-001 sp and my game boy player and it worked fine on both.
Saving also worked perfectly on the latest firmware, eeprom and flash games utilize superfw’s directsaving to write the save directly to the cart. For sram games, the cart’s sram is used, when the system is rebooted the save in sram will be written to the sd card.
You’re probably going to want to upgrade to superfw 0.20. It includes a few fixes that aren’t present in the version shipped with the cartridge, which is 0.18.
It also comes with a few different labels that you can put on the cartridge.

The flashcart worked very well on my gba. it arrived with the latest firmware installed, so i only had to format the micro sd card that i got and transfer the roms from my pc, and voilà. some slowdowns here and there with a few graphically demanding games (like mario kart: super circuit), but flashing the rom to the nor memory integrated in this cart will fix the issue. overall very satisfied with this budget solution. recommended!

Easy to set up and use, was all but ready to go out of the box once i added an sd card with games on it.

It works great got superfw in the flash so it auto sets up your sd just have to add your own roms. it does not recognize.zip so make sure you unzip your roms before copying. easily upgradable to superfw chis version .20 if you want it came with v.18 on it. only issue i’ve come across is certain games need the 128k save or it will give the cannot work on this hardware error. just patch your rom on pc to fix it.

It did not come with an sd card. so i used a fresh one i had on hand. loaded games onto it. worked well, played for an hour. all was well i tried to play again later that day and it just freezes when booting into the main menu, as if its not booting up properly. just freezes and wont respond when an sd card is inserted. tried multiple sd cards and was all the same result, since it didnt come with an sd card in the first place, im not sure if that sd card had some proper settings or firmware on it. it also detects as a ds option pak when inserted into my ds, so its also unusable on my ds. did it corrupt already?

It was a very snug fit the first time when i flashed it, and when i looked inside from the edge i noticed one leg of the battery was not attached to the pad. i opened it up and it was indeed torn loose, i’ll have to solder it back on. otherwise after i closed it back up it was much easier to put into my gba and it worked great albeit without a rtc

This is an awesome cart for gba gb and gbc games. feels and looks like an original cart, pop an sd card in with folders of the games you have and you’re set. updating from the superfw website is a breeze and adds a lot of great features. playing games on original hardware feels amazing and also adds in save states and lets you write the games to the ram for better compatibility.

Item came loaded with the latest firmware (v0.20) and i didn’t have to manually update. tested with a 512gb micro sd card and it worked just fine (though it is overkill). came with a microsd card to usb a adapter, which was a nice inclusion. don’t worry about the cover art shown in the picture, it includes several options for you to apply yourself.

After an update to the firmware, it starts and run games a lot faster than i initially thought for its price. amazing budget flash cart, no real slowdown besides an occasional flashing when there’s too many animations at once during certain scenes in games but that rarely happens.
